TEXAS, APPOINTING A CITY'S REPRESENTATIVE TO THE BRAZOS COUNTY
APPRAISAL DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS FOR A TWO -YEAR TERM
COMMENCING ON JANUARY 1, 2004; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 9 -13- 2001 -11.07 the City Council voted to increase the
membership of the Brazos County Appraisal District Board of Directors to seven (7) members;
and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 9 -13- 2001 -11.07 authorized the College Station City Council to
appoint one member to the seven - member Board of Directors each odd numbered year; and
WHEREAS, TEXAS TAX CODE, Section 6.03, provides that terms of offices for the Members
shall be two (2) years in length; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS:
PART 2. This Resolution shall be effective immediately from and after its passage.
ADOPTED and PASSED by affirmative vote this 23 day of October 2003.

That the City Council hereby appoints Virginia Kettler
as the City's representative on the Brazos County Appraisal District Board
of Directors for a two year term commencing on January 1, 2004. The
City Secretary is hereby authorized to notify Chief Appraiser Gerald L.
"Buddy" Wynn of said appointment.
