TEXAS, SELECTING A PROFESSIONAL CONTRACTOR, APPROVING A
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF
FUNDS FOR DESIGN OF THE FIRE STATION #5 PROJECT. (PROJECT NO. GG -0201)
WHEREAS, the Staff of the City of College Station, Texas, solicited proposals for the design of
the Fire Station #5 Project; and,
WHEREAS, the selection of Brown Reynolds Watford Architects, Inc. is being recommended as
the most highly qualified provider of the design services; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
PART 1:
PART 2: That the City Council hereby approves the contract with Brown Reynolds
Watford Architects, Inc. for an amount not to exceed $120,000.00 for the design
services related to the Fire Station #5 Project.
PART 3: That the funding for this project shall be as budgeted from 1998 General
Obligation Funds in the amount of $120,000.00.
PART 4: That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
ADOPTED this 10th day of April, A.D. 2003.

That the City Council hereby finds that Brown Reynolds Watford Architects, Inc.
is the most highly qualified provider of the services for the design of the Fire
Station #5 Project on the basis of the demonstrated competence and qualifications.
