TEXAS, ACTING AS THE CANVASSING BOARD TO CANVASS THE ELECTION
CONDUCTED ON NOVEMBER 4, 2003.
WHEREAS, on November 4, 2003, a city special election was held for the purpose of proposing
bond propositions and charter amendment propositions to the electorate of College Station.
WHEREAS, the returns tabulated at Central Counting held in the College Station City Council
Chambers on Tuesday, November 4, 2003 recorded a total of 2,273 votes cast or 5.89% of the
registered voters at said combined election; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
That each of the propositions listed on the ballot received the following number of votes in this
election:
BOND PROPOSITION NO. 1
The issuance of $17,980,000 tax bonds and notes for the construction of street and transportation
improvements.

I, Ron Silvia, Mayor of College Station, Texas met with the City Council presiding as the
canvassing board to canvass the general election results tabulated on November 10, 2003 at the City
Hall Council Chambers, College Station, Texas.
I certify that the number of votes cast represented on the resolution correspond with the results
presented on the computer generated printouts.
