A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE RESOLUTION DETERMINING
NEED NUMBER 7 -11- 2002 -11.05 AND AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION OF A
REMAINDER OF A PARCEL IN ADDITION TO THE LAND ACQUIRED FOR RIGHT -OF-
WAY.
WHEREAS, the City Council of College Station, Texas authorized a Resolution Determining
Need on July 11, 2002, said resolution being numbered 7 -11- 2002 - 11.05; and
WHEREAS, the property that was identified in the resolution has been appraised and it has been
determined that one of the remainder parcels will be have only a nominal economic value after
the acquisition for right -of -way; and
WHEREAS, the public welfare and convenience will be served by the acquisition of a fee simple
interest in both the right -of -way parcel and the remainder parcel;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
Part 1: That the Resolution Determining Need numbered 7 -11- 2002 -11.05 dated
July 11, 2002 is amended by changing the description of the property and
authorizing the acquisition of the remainder property in addition to the
ice,, property required for right -of -way.
Part 2: That the revised property description is attached hereto and made a part
hereof for all intents and purposes, and is labeled Exhibit "A ".
Part 3: That all other matters in the prior resolution remain unchanged.
Part 4: That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its
passage.
ADOPTED this 21 day of November, AD 2002.
