RESOLUTION NO. 1 -24- 2002 -12.17
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, APPROVING NOTICE BE GIVEN TO TXU GENERATION COMPANY LP
FOR TERMINATION OF THE POWER SUPPLY AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF
COLLEGE STATION.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas, is required to give a twelve
month notice for termination of the Power Supply Agreement with TXU Generation Company
LP; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas, has directed City staff to give
said termination; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS:
PART 1: That the City Council hereby approves that notice be given to TXU Generation
Company LP for termination of the existing power supply agreement with the
City of College Station.
PART 2: That the City Council hereby approves City staff to begin the process for
proposals for a future power supply agreement.
PART 3: That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
ADOPTED this 24 day of January, A.D. 2002.
