A RESOLUTION OF THE crrY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, DECLARING SUPPORT FOR THE
2OLLEGE STATION TERRACE PINES APARTMENT HOMES, L.P TAX CREDIT APPLICATION TO
THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY AFFAIRS FOR THE YEAR 2004.
WHEREAS. the City of College Station rece,ved a request from College Station Terrace Pines Apartment
Homes. k.P. for support of an affordable elderly rental housing development. "Terrace Pines Apartment
Homes", and
WHEREAS, College Stat,on Terrace Pines Apartment Homes. L.P. ,mends to sub,mt an apphcat,on to the
Texas Department of Housing and Commumty Affmrs m order to receive a tax credit allocanon for the year
2004. and
WHEREAS. the C,ty of College Stanon has heard the proposal from the representanve of College Stat,on
Terrace Pines Apartment Homes, L.P. and
WHEREAS. the construct,on of affordable rental hous,ng ,s tn accordance w,th the C,ty of College Station
Consohdated Plan whmh demonstrates a need for th,s type development; now. therefore.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS'
PART I That the C,ty Council hereby declares support of the apphcat,on for tax credits for Terrace Pines
Apartment Homes.
PART 2' That the development of Terrace P~nes Apartment Homes fulfills a need for add,t,onal affordable
rental housing m accordance with the C,ty of College Statmn Consohdated Plan.
PART 3
It ,s found and determined that the meeting at ~vhich this Resolution passed was open to the pubhc as
required, and that pubhc notice of the ,,me. place, and purpose of said meeting was gwen as reqmred
by the Open Meetings Act.
PART 4: That th~s resolut,on shall take effect immediately from and after ,ts passage.
