A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, APPRO\rlNG A CONTRACT TO PURCHASE 387.205 ACRES OF LAND IN
GRIMES COUNTY FROM HAROLD AND ROSEALICE TRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF
$1,268,096 38.
WHEKEAS, the City Council of the CrtT of College Stauon, Tex~s, entered into an Opuon
Agreement with Harold and Rose~hce Tvant on October 25, 2000, to purchase land for a new
landfill m Grimes County: now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEX. AS
PART 1'
That the City Council hereby approves the Land Purchase Contract with Harold
and Roseahce Tram to purchase 387 205 acres of land for the new landfill m
Grimes County in the amount of $1,268,096.38
PART 2' That tim resoluuon shall take effect immechately from and after its passage
ADOPTED flus 27m day of May, A D 2004.
