A RESOLUTION OF TItE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION. TEXAS. APPROVING GRANT
APPLICATIONS WITH THE OFFICE OF DOMESTIC PREPAREDNESS OF THE U S.
DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY IN COOPERATION WITH THF. U.S FIRE
ADMINISTRATION FOR FUNDING FROM THE ASSISTANCE TO FIREFIGHTERS
GRANT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Office of Domestic Preparedness receives and adraJmsters grant funds under the
Assistance to Flrefighters Grant Pmgra,n, 4-1 CFR Part 152. for the purpose of making funds
available for local projects that quah fy under Ihe llst ofehglble categories: and
WHEREAS. the City Council of the City of College Station desires to apply for an Assistance to
Flrefighters Act grant for acquisition of eqmpment that will enhance emergency medical service
delivery to citizens, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI1 Y OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS
PART I' That the City Courted hereby approves the grant application for $94.192 00.
PART2. That thc C~ty Couqcd hereby agrees to provide the local match conlnbutlon of
$40.368 00
PART 3.
That the City Council hereby authorizes and designates the Fire Chief for the City of
College Statton Fire Department to sign agreemenls wah the Office of Domestic
Preparedness for this grant on bnhalfofthe C~ty of College Station.
PART 4' That this resolution shall take effect irmne&ately from and after its passage
