A RESOLUTION OF THE Cl'r~' COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, SELECTING A LAND SURVEYOR CONTRACTOR, APPROVING A
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE
OF FUNDS FOR LAND SURVEYING SERVICES FOR ELECTRIC CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS.
WHEREAS, the City of College Station, Texas, desires to engage the services of a Land
Surveyor for Electric Capital Improvement Projects; and
WHEREAS, the selection of Joe Orr, Inc is being recommended as the most highly qualified
provider of the Land Surveying Services;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station,
Texas:
PART I:
That the City Council hereby finds that Joe Orr, Inc. is the most highly
qualified provider of the Land Surveying Services for various Electric
Capital Improvement Projects on demonstrated competence and
qualifications.
PART 2:
That the City Council hereby approves the contract with Joe Orr, Inc. for
an amount not to exceed $65,000.00 for Land Surveying Services related
to various Electric Capital Improvement Projects.
PART 3: That the funding for this project shall be as budgeted from the Electric
Capital Improvement Project Funds in the amount of $65,000.00.
PART 4: That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
ADOPTED this 26th day of Ausust , A.D. 2004.
