RESOLUTION NO. 11-9-2004-13 02
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS. APPROVING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE GREENS PRAIRIE
ROAD/ARRINGTON ROAD REALIGNMENT PROJECT NO ST-0304 AND
AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the City of College Station, Texas, solicited bids for the construction phase of the
Greens Prairie Road! Arrington Road Realignment Project; and
WHEREAS. the selection of Young Contractors. Inc is bemg recommended as the lowest
responsible bidder for the construction services related to Greens Prairie Road! Arrington Road
Realignment Project; now. therefore.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station. Texas:
PART I. That the City Council hereby finds that Young Contractors. Inc. IS the
lowest responsible bidder
PART 2: That the City Council hereby approves the contract with Young
Contractors Inc for $1.031.196 12 for the labor. materials and equipment
required for the improvements related to the Greens Prairie Road!
Arrington Road Realignment Project.
PART 3: That the funding for this Project shall be as budgeted from the Street
Project Funds funded from Certificates of Obligation authorized as pan of
the 2002 budget In the amount of $1.031, 196.12.
PART 4: That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
