HomeMy WebLinkAbout7-28-2005-3.2 - Resolution - 07/28/2005RESOLUTION NO. 7-28-2005-3.2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, APPROVING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR PHASE II OF THE WOLF PEN CREEK UPPER TRAILS PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS. WHEREAS, the City of College Station, Texas, solicited bids for the construction phase of Phase II of the Wolf Pen Creek Upper Trails Project; and WHEREAS, the selection of JaCody, Inc., is being recommended as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction services related to Phase II of the Wolf Pen Creek Upper Trails Project; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas: PART 1: That the City Council hereby finds that JaCody, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder. PART 2: That the City Council hereby approves the contract with JaCody, Inc. for $465,888.50 for the labor, materials and equipment required for the improvements related to Phase II of the Wolf Pen Creek Upper Trails Proj ect. PART 3: That the funding for this Project shall be as budgeted from the Drainage Utility Fund in the amount of $155,296.16 and the Wolf Pen Creek TIF Fund in the amount of $310,592.34. PART 4: That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage. ADOPTED this 28th day of July, A.D. 2005.
