Members Present: Mayor Langford, Councilmen Orr, Wilcox, Burns, Lloyd,
Munson and Smith.
On motion of Mr. Wilcox, seconded by Mr. Orr, the following resolution
was passed: "Legal evidence having been presented to the Council that
Frank G. Anderson has purchased utility note No. 3 from Mr. R. R. Lan-
caster, the city is authorized to make future payments on the retirement
of the note to said Frank G. Anderson". Motion passed.
Mr. Wilcox reported for his committee on available space for the city
office. Two offices belonging to Mr. Steel could be rented for $30
and $40 per month, and the present location of the city office from Mr.
Munnerlyn for $ 25 per month.
Motion was made by Mr. Orr, seconded by Mr. Smith, to keep the City
Office at its present location for the next twelve months. Motion
passed.
Motion was made by Mr. Orr, seconded by Mr. Burns, to raise E. W. Haug's
salary to $ 125 per month, beginning May 1. Motion carried.
Motion was made by Mr. Orr, seconded by Mr. Wilcox, to reduce all utility
41": bills 10%, if paid between the first and the tenth of the month, beginning
with the payment of the bills due June 1st. Motion carried.
