Meeting of the City Council, Thursday, June 12th, at 7:30 P.M. I140
i 1 Members presents Mayor Anderson, Aldermen Munson, 0rr, Lipscomb,
Langford and Wilcox, and City Engineer Mchew and Sanitary Engineer
Steel.
Motion was made by Mr. Langford, seconded by Mr. Musnon, to ask
the Council to authorize W. 0. Richards to sign for gasoline up
to the amount of $ 15.00 per month, to be charged to the city,
and to use one of the city's gas stations; this bill to rotate t,..
among the stations.
Motinn was made by Mr. Munson, seconded by Mr. 0rr, that the
Engineering department be authorized to purchase and install a
1 4-inch pipe for the sewer pipe in College Hills Estates.
Motion was mdde by mr. Langford, seconded by Mr. Munson, that the
city accept the recommdndation8 of the City Planning board govern-
ing subdivisions. Motion carried.
Motion was made by Mr. Langford, seconded by iar. Munson, to accept
Mr. Simpson's offer to audit the city's books, and to set up a
book deeping system to be used in the city office.
Motion was made by '"r. Langford, seconded by Mr. Munson, that
the city rent the building owned by 'r. Steel to be used as
office space fot the city.
Messrs. Albert and Victor Dominik, with their attorney, Mr.
Coulter Hoppess, appeared before the City council in connection
with the proposed change of location of the College Hills sewer
bed, and the resulting extension of the sewer line. Mr. Victor
Dominik agreed to give the city an easement across Lis land, for
the extendion of the sewer line.
Motion was made by Mr. 0rr, seconded by Mr. Lipscomb, that a
reconsideration of the motion pertaining the renting of office
space in the building owned by Mr. Steel, be given; that Mr.
! Munnerlyn be contactdd, and that the committee inquire as to
other available office space. The following committee was al,poirit-
ed by the Mayor to make this investigation: Mr. Munson, Mr. Orr;
and Mr. Wilcox.
