A regular meeting of the City "ouncil was held on June 20, in the
City Office, with Mayor Anderson presiding and Aldermen Lipscomb,
Wilcox, Orr, Munson, and Langford, and City Engineer McF ew in
attendence.
Motion was made by Mr. Langford, seconded by Mr. v,ilcox, to chary
ti 1.60 plus 4t .75 sewer charge for water bills during the month
of June, motion carried.
Mr. burgess met *ith the Council and prsented a proposition to
the city for taking over vest nark Utilities.
A motion was made by iair. Oilcox, seconded by Mr. Langford, to
authorize the Mayor to arrange for a loan of 1000; notes to
be made as they are needed. Motion carried.
Motion was made by Mr. munson, seconded by Mr. Lipscomb, to give
to give permission to the W.P.A. to continue with piping the
ditch on into the city str eats.
A motion was made by Mr. Langford, seconded by IMr.. Wilcox, that
the mayor be requested to inform the residents who are interest-
ed in the mesquito eradication , and in -setting aside areas, as
a .park, that it is the unanimous desire of bhe city council
that both be accepted.
A motion was made by laar. Langford and seconded by Mr. Munson to
put in the fire plug at the forth Cate. Motion carried.
A motion WFS made by Mr. Munson, seconded by Mr. Langford, for
a recommendation of the following men to act as a Hoard of Equal-
ization, Mr. L. L. McQuillen, chairman, Mr. A. hit ,hell, Mr. bat
Edmondson, Mr. J. H. Quisenberry and Mr. Lil fl mmitt. Motion
carried.
A motion was made by `°`r. Orr, seconded by Mr. Wilcox, to send a
check of w 100 to A. f: M. College as a guarantee on fire equip-
ment, and to write a letter stating that the city will assume
authority of fire equipment end injury to firemen, in answer-
ing calls made for the city,

ization, Mr. E. E. McQuillen, chairman, Mr. A. Mitchell, Dr. Nat
Edmondson, Mr. J. H. Quisenberry and Mr. Lil Dammitt. Motion
carried.
A motion was made by Mr. Orr, seconded by Mr. Wilcox, to send a
check of $ 100 to A. & M. College as a guarantee on fire equip-
ment, and to write a letter stating that the city will assume
authority of fire equipment and injury to firemen, in answer-
ing calls made for the city,
