A regular meeting of the city council was held in the city
office on June 6, at seven o'clock, with Mayor Anderson presid-
ing, and Aldermen Wilcox, Lipscomb, Munson, 0rr, and City Engin-
eer MoNew and Mr. Boughton in attendence.
A motion was mode by Mr. ai.lcox, and seconded by Mr. Orr, to
grant a building permit to Mr. Tauber. Motion carried.
Mr. Boughton presented a map of College Hills Estates Utilities
to the Council . The mayor appointed a committee to investigate
the utilities and report back to the Council. The committee is
c opposed of mr. Munson, chairman, Mr. McNew, Mr. 0rr, Mr. Lip-
scomb and Mr. Barger.
The mayor read a letter written to Mr. Barger from the State
Wire Insurance Commissioner.
A motion was made by Mr. Munson and seconded by Mr. Orr to have
a minimum of $ 1.00 for lights, and $ 1.00 for water. Potion
carried.
A motion was made by Mr. Orr and seconded by Mr. Munson to pass
the proposed water ratesakside the city limits. Motion car-
ried.
