The -itY Council of the City Council met in special session in t e
City Office on March 28, at 7 P.M. with Aldermen Jones, Wilcox,
( ) Lipscomb and Orr, and City Engineer McNew and City Sanitary
Engineer Steel in attendance.
A motion was made by Orr and seconded by Jones to accept a deed
to the water lines in the north area. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Orr and seconded by Lipscomb to pay a bill if
4 25.00 to A. & M. College for answering a call to College View
Service Station. Motion carried.
A motion was made by vrr and seconded by Lipscomb to go ahead wi 'h
the line to the new theater. Motion passed.
A motion was made by Lipscomb and seconded by Orr to asK for sea -
ed bids to be delivered to the office of the city secretary from
different automobile agencies in Bryan, to consider the purchase
of a Pick-Up truck- the bids to be filed not later thalnMonday,
April 1st.
A motion was made by Jones, and seconded by Orr to authorize the
payment of $ 75.00 for street repairs. Motion passed.
A motion was made by Jones and seconded by Lipscomb to instruct
the City Engineer or his detail, to proceed, in accordance with
the Zoning Ordinance, to warn and instruct any buildings now
going up to aEply for a building permit by five o'clock Monday,
April 1st at 5 P.M. Vote carried unanimously.
