COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Silvia, Mayor Pro Tern White, Council
members Happ, Gay, McIlhaney, Scotti, Ruesink
STAFF PRESENT: City Manager Brown, City Attorney Cargill Jr., City Secretary
Hooks, Assistant City Secretary Casares, Management Team
Mayor Silvia called the meeting to order at 4:01 p.m.
Special Meetinl! Al!enda Item No. 1 - Presentation, possible action, and discussion
on the IT 2006-2007 Proposed Budl!et.
Chief Financial Officer Jeff Kersten presented data about the Internal and Revenue
Service Funds.
No formal action was taken.
Special Meetinl! Al!enda Item No.2 - Presentation, possible action. and discussion
on the 2006-2007 ad valorem tax rate: and on callinl! two public hearinl!s on a
proposed ad valorem tax rate for 2006-2007.
This item was completed on Tuesday, August 22, 2006.
Special Meetinl! Al!enda Item No.3 - Executive Session.
At 5:37p.m., Mayor Silvia announced in open session that the City Council would
convene into executive session pursuant to Section 551.086 of the open meetings act to
consider competitive matters.
