WHEREAS, on August 11, 1988, the City Council of the City of Col- lege Station, Texas, heard the application of Clarence Lee Hough, Jr., and Patricia Suzanne Hough, for the abandonment of a strip of land previously dedicated as a portion of a utility easement located on Lot 15, Block 8, Southwood Section Seven (1008 Madera), in the City of College Station, Brazos County, Texas, more particularly set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto; BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STA- TION, TEXAS, that the City Council of the City of College Station hereby vacates and abandons a strip of land previously dedicated as a portion of a utility easement as stated above and authorizes the Mayor of the City of College Station to execute a quit -claim deed to Clarence Lee Hough, Jr. and Patricia Suzanne Hough for the abandoned portion of the easement.
