AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 11, UTILITIES, SECTION 5, GARBAGE
SERVICE REGULATIONS, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
CO?~mGE STATION BY AMENDING SECTION 5-J(6), SPECIFICALLY TO
PROHIBIT CERTAIN ACTIONS WITH REGARD TO THE DISPOSAL OF GARBAGE,
REFUSE, DIRT, STAGNANT WATER, AND DEAD ANIMALS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of College Station,
Texas, held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 p.m. on
Thursday, August , 1990, on the question of waste disposal and~
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined to amend Chapter
11, Section 5-J(6)~
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF COLLEGE STATION:
That Chapter 11, Section 5-J(6) of the Code of Ordinances
shall be amended to read:
"(6) It shall be unlawful for any person to sweep,
throw or otherwise deposit upon or along any vacant
lot, drain, gutter, alley, sidewalk, street or upon any
public or private premises any municipal, industrial or
hazardous solid waste."
II.
This ordinance shall become effective and be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval by the City
Council and duly attested by the Mayor and City Secretary.

and APPROVED this 9th day of August, 1990.
