HomeMy WebLinkAbout1990-1849 - Ordinance - 04/26/1990ORDINANCE NO. 1849 AN ORDINANCE REZONING 2 TRACTS OF LAND TOTALLING 17.61 ACRES LYING AND BEING SITUATED IN THE FUTURE PEBBLES CREEK SUBDIVISION ALONG THE SOUTH SIDE OF GREENS PRAIRIE ROAD, BETWEEN S.H. 6 AND ROCK PRAIRIE ROAD FROM INTERIM AGRICULTURAL OPEN TO PERMANENT A-O AGRICULTURAL OPEN. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS: WHEREAS, the city Council held a public hearing in the City Hall at 7:00 P.M. on April 26, 1990 on the question of rezoning certain areas within the city limits; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following: To rezone or change the classification of the following two (2) tracts of land lying and being situated in the future Pebbles Creek subdivision along the south side of Greens Prairie Road, between S.H. 6 and Rock Prairie Road in College Station, Brazos County, Texas and being more fully described by metes and bounds as follows: TRACT NO. 1 Ail that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the S.W. Robertson Survey in College Station, Brazos County, Texas, being a part of that 1348.88 acre tract conveyed to TCR Joint Venture by deeds recorded in Volume 1058, Page 613 and Volume 1058, Page 610 of the official Records of Brazos County, Texas, and being more particularly described as follows: Commencing in the southeast line of Greens Prairie Road, N 41 degrees 52' 23" E - 2723.04 feet from the most northerly corner of Texas Centroid Ranch Section One addition the City of College Station, Texas, according to plat of record in Volume 981, Page 221 of the official Records of Brazos County, Texas. This point is also the most northerly corner of that 27.29 acre tract conveyed to the City of College Station by deed recorded in Volume 1029, Page 13 of the official Records of Brazos County, Texas. Thence, S 39 degrees 34' 29" E - 2557.78 feet along the northeast line of the said 27.29 acre tract to the Point of Beginning of this tract; Ordinance No. 1849 Page 2 Thence N 50 degrees 25' 31" E - 505.00 feet through the said TCR Joint Venture 1348.88 acre tract to an angle point; Thence continuing through the said TCR Joint Venture tract as follows: N 5 degrees 25' 31" E - 98.99 feet to an angle point; N 50 degrees 25' 31" W - 360.00 feet to an angle point; S 84 degrees 34' 29" E - 205.06 feet to an angle point; S 39 degrees 34' 29" E - 430.00 feet to the most easterly corner of this tract; S 50 degrees 25' 31" W - 180.00 feet to an angle point; S 5 degrees 25' 31" W - 162.63 feet to an angle point; S 50 degrees 25' 31" W - 785.00 feet to the most southerly corner of this tract in the northeast line of the said City of College Station 27.29 acre tract; Thence N 39 degrees 34' 29" W - 620.00 feet along the northeast line of the said 27.29 acre tract to the Point of Beginning and containing 15.37 acres of land more or less, from an interim A-O Agricultural Open zoning classification to permanent A-O Agricultural Open. TRACT NO. 2 Ail that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the S.W. Robertson Survey in College Station, Brazos County, Texas, being a part of that 1348.88 acre tract conveyed to TCR Joint Venture by deeds recorded in Volume 1058, Page 613 and Volume 1058, Page 610, of the Official Records of Brazos County, Texas, and being more particularly described as follows: Beginning in the southeast line of Greens Prairie Road, N 41 degrees 52' 23" E - 229.58 feet from the most northerly corner of that 27.29 acre tract conveyed to the City of College Station by deed recorded in Volume 1029, Page 13 of the Official Records of Brazos County, Texas. Thence N 41 degrees 52' 23" E - 345.00 feet continuing along the southeast line of Greens Prairie Road to the most northerly corner of this tract; Thence S 48 degrees 07' 37" E - 229.00 feet through the said TCR Joint Venture tract to the most easterly corner of this tract; Thence S 24 degrees 29' 26" W - 361.51 feet through the said TCR Joint Venture tract to southerly corner of this tract; continuing the most Thence N 48 degrees 07' 37" W - 337.00 feet continuing through the said TCR Joint Venture tract to the Point of Ordinance No. 1849 Page 3 Beginning and containing 2.24 acres of land more or less, from an interim A-O Agricultural Open zoning classification to permanent A-O Agricultural ODen. And, it is ordained that said changes shall become effective immediately. PASSED AND APPROVED this 26th day of April, 1990.
