AN ORDINANCE REZONING 8 TRACTS OF LAND TOTALLING 281.13
ACRES LYING AND BEING SITUATED IN THE TEXAS CENTROID RANCH,
WHICH IS GENERALLY LOCATED IN THE SOUTHEASTERN AREA OF THE
INTERSECTION OF S.H.6 AND GREENS PRAIRIE ROAD IN COLLEGE
STATION, BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY
DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE
FROM A-O AGRICULTURAL OPEN AND A-P ADMINISTRATIVE
PROFESSIONAL TO R-4 LOW DENSITY APARTMENTS, A-O AGRICULTURAL
OPEN, C-1 GENERAL COMMERCIAL, A-P ADMINISTRATIVE
PROFESSIONAL, R-1 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL, AND R-3
TOWNHOUSE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE
STATION, TEXAS:
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing in the City
Hall at 7:00 P.M. on March 22, 1990 on the question of
rezoning certain areas within the city limits; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classification of the following
eight (8) tracts of land lying and being situated in the
Texas Centroid Ranch, which is generally located in the
southeastern area of the intersection of S.H.6 and Greens
Prairie Road in College Station, Brazos County, Texas and
being more fully described by metes and bounds as follows:
TRACT NO. 1
Being all that certain tract or parcel of land lying and
being situated in the S.W. ROBERTSON SURVEY in College
Station, Brazos County, Texas, being a part of that
1348.88 acre tract conveyed to TCR Joint Venture by deeds
recorded in Volume 1058, Page 613 and Volume 1058, Page
610 of the Official Records of Brazos County, Texas, and
being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING: in the southeast line of Greens Prairie Road, N
41 degrees 52' 23" E 2070.88 feet from the most
northerly corner of Texas Centroid Ranch Section One
addition to the City of College Station, Texas, according
to plat of record in Volume 981, Page 221 of the
