AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF A TWELVE INCH
SANITARY SEWER LINE EASEMENT WHICH CROSSES AND LIES WITHIN LOT 1
OF THE BOARDWALK, A SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS.
WHEREAS, the City of College Station, has received an Application
for the Abandonment of a portion of a twelve inch sanitary sewer
line easement which crosses and lies within Lot i of the Board-
walk, a subdivision in the City of College Station, more particu-
larly described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, on October 10, 1991, the City Council of the City of
College Station, Texas, heard the application of Marry Leighty on
behalf of the property owner, Austaco, Inc., for the vacation and
abandonment of the twelve inch sanitary sewer line easement which
crosses and lies within Lot i of the Boardwalk, a subdivision in
the City of College Station, as shown by ~lat recorded in Volume
498, Page 32? of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of
College Station, Texas, that a 0.0409 acre tract, being a ten
foot (10') wide strip of land previously platted as a sanitary
sewer line easement which crosses and lies within Lot i of the
Boardwalk, a subdivision in the City of College Station, be aban-
doned and vacated; that the.Mayor and City Secretary be autho-
rized to convey by quit claim deed on behalf of the City of
College Station any right or claim which the City has in and to
said ten foot (10') wide strip of land to Austaco, Inc.
PASSED, ADOPTED and APPROVED this 10th day of October, 1991.
