HomeMy WebLinkAbout1991-1913 - Ordinance - 09/26/1991ORDINANCE NO. 1913 AN ORDINANCE CREATING CHAPTER 14t SECTIONS 1, 2, 3, AND 4t OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION ESTABLISHING A LIST OF SERVICES PROVIDED FOR WHICH FEES SHALL BE CHARGED, AND CALLING FOR THE SETTING OF THE AMOUNTS OF THOSE FEES BY SEPARATE RESOLUTION. WHEREAS, the City of College Station City Council has determined that certain services performed for members of the public should be charged for the benefit of the public; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION THAT: The Code of Ordinances of the City of College Station is hereby amended by creating a new Chapter 14, Sections 1, 2, 3, and 4, pertaining to the services for which fees will be charged, to read as follows: "CHAPTER 14 SERVICE FEES SECTION 1: FEES CHARGED Am The services listed in this chapter shall be provided by the City of College Station and paid for by the recipient of those services, the fee for which shall be set by resolution amended and adopted from time to time. Bm The services delineated in this Chapter shall not be consid- ered all inclusive. Other services provided by the City of College Station may be charged for notwithstanding the en- actment of this Chapter. SECTION 2: POLICE DEPARTMENT SERVICES Am Police Department records checks and verifications provided to citizens upon request. Governmental agencies making such requests shall be exempt from the provisions of this sec- tion. Requests for incident reports prepared by the Police Depart- ment. Fingerprinting by the Police Department upon request. The fingerprinting of children is hereby exempted from the pay- ment requirement. Ordinance No. 1913 Page 2 D. Police Department escort services for other than emergency services. SECTION 3: FIRE DEPARTMENT SERVICES A. Requests for incident reports prepared by the Fire Depart- ment. B. Fire Department inspections of day care centers. C. Fire Department inspections of foster home inspections. D. Fire Department inspections of health care facility inspec- tions. E. Automatic hood tests performed by the Fire Department. F. Fire Department inspections of automatic fire alarm systems. G. Fire Department testing of the natural gas system. H. Fuel tank leak testing performed by the Fire Department. I. Fuel line leak testing performed by the Fire Department. J. The provision of Basic Emergency Medical Services with transportation from a location within the corporate limits of College Station to a location within Brazos County. K. The provision of Advanced Life Support Services with trans- portation from a location within the corporate limits of College Station to a location within Brazos County. L. The provision of Basic Emergency Medical Services with transportation from a location outside the corporate limits. M. Response to or the provision of Basic Emergency Medical Ser- vices without transportation at a location outside the cor- porate limits of the City of College Station. N. The provision of Advanced Life Support Services with trans- portation from a location outside the corporate limits. O. The provision of Basic Emergency Medical Services to a loca- tion outside of Brazos County. P. The provision of Advanced Life Support Services with trans- portation to a location outside of Brazos County. SECTION 4: PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT SERVICES Ae Collection of animal carcasses from the offices of veteri- narians. Street sweep made either at the request of generator or necessitated as a result of washing of dirt, littering, or depositing of any organic or inorganic material by a genera- tor; and outside of the customary street sweep program. Cm Permit and inspection fees allowing the cutting of streets, alleyways and sidewalks. Dm Repair of streets damaged in the installation of underground facilities.,, II. This ordinance shall become effective and be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the City Coun- cil and duly attested by the Mayor and City Secretary.
