AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 11 LANDSCAPING, OF
ORDINANCE NO. 1638, THE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR THE CITY OF
COLLEGE STATION, SPECIFICALLY TO REVISE CERTAIN POINT
CREDITS GIVEN FOR TREES; TO ALLOW A POINT CREDIT FOR
PROVIDING AN IRRIGATION SYSTEM; AND TO ALLOW A REDUCTION
IN THE REQUIRED NUMBER OF PLANTED ISLANDS
WHEREAS, the City Counc!l of the City of C.Q. lleg[Statio, n, T.?a.s..h~e..Id a p. ubhc
hearing in the City Hall at 7.00 p.m. on Thursoay, tJecemner t.*, l~vu, on me
question of amending Section 11 of the Zoning Ordinance relative to landscaping
requirements;
AND WHEREAS, the City Council has determined to amend th~s Section;
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF COLLEGE
STATION, TEXAS:
Amend Section 11.2 to read:
EXISTING TREE: Any self supporting woody plant, except C. elt~s oc.c,~dentahs
~Hackberty),with one well defined trunk fowr-.ao&-oa~-haif-ino~s-~-4,.g~} two
inches (2"~ in diameter or greater at one foot above the ground.
Amend 11.4.A.5 to read:
The location, species and diameter of existing trees having a trunk diameter
aml-o~-hatf-inet,a~-{&-5'-'}-two (2") inches or larger. Also include barricade sizes
if points are to be awarded.
Amend 11.4.A.7 to read:
