AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10, SECTION 2, OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES, CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS BY THE ADDITION OF
SUBSECTION "K" REGULATING TRAFFIC AT THE INTERSECTION OF MILE
DRIVE AND THE STATE HIGHWAY 6 BYPASS WEST FRONTAGE ROAD AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE
STATION:
I.
That Chapter 10, Section 2, of the Code of Ordinances, City
of College Station, Texas, is hereby amended by adding a Sub-
section "K," which shall read as follows:
"K. SPECIAL HAZARD INTERSECTIONS CONTROLLED BY NO RIGHT TURN,
NO LEFT TURN SIGNS.
The City hereby designates the intersection of Mile Drive
and State Highway 6 West Frontage Road as a special hazard
intersection, to be controlled by "No Left Turn," "No Right
Turn" signs as described in the Traffic Control DeviG~ In-
ventory -- Schedule VIII on file in the office of the City
Secretary. This schedule is hereby adopted and incorporated
in the Code as if set out at length herein. The schedule
may be amended from time-to-time by ordinance of the City
Council. A current schedule shall be maintained by the City
Secretary at all times."
II.
And, it is ordained that this ordinance shall become effec-
tive from and after its passage in accordance with the city
charter of the City of College Station.
