AN ORDINANCE SETI'ING THE PER TON LANDFILL CHARGE FOR DISPOSAL
OF SOLID WASTE AT THE ROCK PRAIRIE ROAD LANDFILL, PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS New regulations affecting the cost of landfill construction and management
have been imposed by the State of Texas and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
and,
WHEREAS said regulations become effective on October 9, 1993.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of College Station that:
The charge per ton for the disposal of solid waste at the Rock Prairie Road Landfill,
owned by the Brazos Valley Solid Waste Management Agency and operated, under
contract, by the Ctty of College Station, be set at $21.50 per ton.
This rate shall be effective for ali solid waste entering the Rock Prairie Road Landfill on
October 1, 1993
