AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE BUILDING OFFICIAL TO RENUMBER
THE BUSINESS ADDRESSES ALONG THE EAST AND WEST SIDES OF
STATE HIGHWAY 6 - BYPASS TO COINCIDE WITH THE SYSTEM OF
ADDRESSING THAT IS CURRENTLY BEING USED BY THE CITY OF
COLLEGE STATION
WHEREAS, the C~ty Council of the City of College having heard the recommen-
dation from the Pohce and F~re Departments of the C~ty of College Station that
various areas in the C~ty need to have their addresses changed to conform with
the addressing system being used for the rest of the City;
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of College Station having determined that
~t would be ~n the best ~nterest of the c~t~zens of the City of College Station to
in~fiate a phase system to implement these changes, as recommended by the
Police and Fire Departments, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the C~ty of College Station having determined that
the first phase of the re-numbenng system should ~nclude the east and west sides
of State Highway 6 - Bypass;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, that the following street addresses along a
section of the east and west s~des of State Highway 6- Bypass shall be re-
numbered as follows-

shall not become effecbve unbl the first day of March, 1995
