AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10, SECTION 2D, OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION RELATING TO SPECIAL
HAZARD INTERSECTIONS CONTROLLED BY STOP SIGNS, AND DECLARING
THAT ATTENDANT FACTS NECESSITATE IMMEDIATE ACTION·
WHEREAS, the City Counc met at its regular meeting on August 11, 1994, and
found that it would be in the best interest and safety of the citizens to amend Chap-
ter 10, Section 2D, of the Code of Ord,nances by adding stop signs at the following
intersections:
2' Shire Eastbound at Victoria
Mustang Southbound at Shire
Sunflower Southbound at Mint

M~nt Eastbound at Welsh
Sunflower Eastbound at Welsh
Ivy Cove Eastbound at Welsh
7 Oakbrook Southbound at Deacon
8. Meadowbrook Southbound at Deacon
9. Hasselt Westbound at Nottingham
10. Hasselt Eastbound at Nottingham
11. Aster Westbound at Nottingham
12. Aster Eastbound at Nottingham
13. Eleanor Eastbound at Montclair
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COLLEGE STATION'
That Chapter 10, Section 2D, of the Code of Ordinances is hereby amended to read
as follows:
"D. SPECIAL HAZARD INTERSECTIONS CONTROLLED BY STOP SIGNS
The C ty hereby designates certain special hazard intersection.s to b? con-
trolled by stop signs The designated special hazard ~ntersections mr the
City of College Station to be controlled by stop signs are described in Traffic
Control Device nventorv - Schedule III (datedAugust 2, 1988, as amended)
on file in the office of the C~ty Secretary This schedu · ~s hereby adopted
and incorporated ~n th~s Code as if set out at length here,n and is amended
by adding stop signs at the following special hazard intersections:

3. Mint Eastbound at Welsh
Sunflower Southbound et Mint
~. Sunflower Eastbound at Welsh
Ivy Cove Eastbound at Welsh

The schedule may bo amended from time to time by ordinance of the City
Council. A current schedule shall be maintained by' the City Secretary at all
times"
