AN ORDINANCE NAMING A PORTION OF "LAKE FOREST COURT SOUTH",
AS PLATTED, WITHIN THE CI'I'Y LIMITS OF COLLEGE STATION AS "NOEL
COURT".
WHEREAS, the City has determined that in order to avoid confusion in the deliv-
ery of emergency and postal services a need exists to establish a separate and
distinct name for the cul-de-sac that runs from and adjacent to the street platted
as "Lake Forest Court South" in the Woodcreek Subdivision, and
WHEREAS, the property owners of lots that front onto the cul-de-sac have been
notified in writing and given the opportunity to suggest alternate names for that
portion of the street; and
WHEREAS the City Council having determined that the residents of both Lake
Forest Court South and the said adjoining cul-de-sac wi benefit from the des,g-
nation of the cul-de-sac with a separate name because it reduces the potential of
emergency or other vehicles responding to an incorrect address;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, that the cul-de-sac on Lake Forest Court South
be named "Noel Court", and that, mindful that the owners of property abutting
Noel Court may be affected by th~s change and will need to make certain
arrangements, the City Council df the City of College Station further orda,ns that
this change shall not become effective until the 1st day of August, 1994
PASSED, ADOPTED, and APPROVED this 14th day of July, 1994
