Chairman Brick called the meeting to order at 3:02 AGENDA ITEM NO. 2: Hear Visitors There were none. AGENDA ITEM NO. 3: Consideration, discussion, and possible action to approve meeting Minutes. Board Member Shafer motioned to approve the meeting Minutes from November 4, 2013. The motion was seconded by Board Member Ellison and was approved (6 -0). AGENDA ITEM NO. 4: Presentation, possible action, and discussion regarding bike lanes on Eagle Avenue. Greenways Program Manager Garza presented this item. It was decided to remove the bicycle lanes on one side of Eagle Avenue from Victoria Avenue to Night Rain Drive and to add sharrows. There is not a timeline for this project as of yet. AGENDA ITEM NO. 5: Presentation, possible action, and discussion regarding trail projects priorities. Ms. Garza presented the remaining list of proposed trail projects as identified in the Bicycle, Pedestrian, and Greenways Master Plan. After discussion on each trail project, the Board decided to make the Spring Creek Trail (from Pebble Creek Parkway to the Shenandoah subdivision) the highest priority, College Avenue Side Path (from University Drive to along with Bee Creek West (from Southwest Parkway to Holleman Drive. The Board also proposed the following changes to priorities: • Harvey Road /SH 6 Connector - From short-term to near -term • Wolf Pen Creek Extension - From short-term to near -term • Appomattox Extension - From near -term to short-term • Bee Creek Central Park - From short -term to near -term AGENDA ITEM NO. 6: Presentation and discussion regarding the Bicycle, Pedestrian, and Greenways Advisory Board calendar of upcoming meetings. • December 5, 2013 — Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting — City Hall, Council Chambers — 6:00 p.m. • December 19, 2013 — Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting — City Hall, Council Chambers 6:00 p.m. • January 6, 2014 '' Bicycle, Pedestrian, and Greenways Advisory Board « City Hall, Council Chambers 3:00 p.m. AGENDA ITEM NO. 7: Possible action and discussion on future agenda items - A Bicycle, Pedestrian, and Greenways Advisory Board Member may inquire about a subject for which notice has not been given. A statement of specific factual information or the recitation of existing policy may be given. Any deliberation shall be limited to a proposal to place the subject on an agenda for a subsequent meeting. Chairman Brick requested updated information on the Lick Creek Trail.
