Historic Preservation Committee
Monday, January 6, 2014 — 4:00 pm
NOTE NEW MEETING LOCATION
Municipal Court at 300 Krenek Tap Road
College Station, Texas 77842.
Attendees will come through the front entrance and take the elevator on the right to the second floor.
When they exit and face right, the reserved conference room will be on the left.
1. Call to Order and announce a Quorum.
2. Introduce new Historic Records Coordinator, Jared Donnelly.
3. Hear Visitors. Visitors after stating name and address for the record may address the Historic
Preservation Committee for three (3) minutes. Topics for deliberation shall be discussed under the
appropriate agenda item, placed on the agenda of a subsequent meeting, or assigned to staff for
research. However, a statement of specific factual information or the recitation of existing policy
may be issued.
4. Possible action and discussion on absence requests.
5. Possible action and discussion of previous minutes.
6. Discussion of committee terms expiring in January 2014 — Linda Harvell, Jerry Cooper, Ann Hays,
Lou Hodges, and Ken Rogers.
7. Committee Discussion — 2013 in review for the HPC.
8. Presentation, possible action, and discussion regarding the 2014 Exploring History Lunch Series,
including update regarding specific efforts to secure sponsors for 2014 Exploring History Lunch
Series.
9. Presentation, possible action, and discussion regarding recommendations to the City Council for the
2014 HPC programs.
10. Presentation, possible action, and discussion of historical items presented by committee members,
which may include historical books, pictures, artifacts, scrapbooks, or other memorabilia. No action
will be taken.

11. Presentation, possible action, and discussion on future agenda items - A Historic Preservation
Member may inquire about a subject for which notice has not been given. A statement of specific
factual information or the recitation of existing policy may be given. Any deliberation shall be
limited to a proposal to place the subject on an agenda for a subsequent meeting.
12. Adjourn.

Texas will be held on Monday, January 6, 2014 at 4 p.m. at the Municipal Court at 300 Krenek Tap Road,
