This is WTAW, the First 100 Years, I'm Tom Turbiville. It is no wonder that Nat Co ad was Miss
WTAW of 1959. As she will tell you, getting involved has always been her thing. And since she
moved back to her hometown of Bryan-College Station 12 years ago, when her husband, Jerry,
retired from IBM, well, the active former Nat Rezzoffi has just kept at it.

I'm an FBI, full-blooded Italian, and I'm a real people person, and I love people, and I enjoy
making new friends, and I have friends from 30 years ago, and even longer. And I've been gone
from Bryan, which I grew up ‘bout 50 years, so it's good to be back home. When Jerry retired
from IBM, he said, “Where do you want to go?”, and I said, “home”. We traveled; I went with
him on just about all the countries that he was going to, so we've had a very interesting life.

Yep, volunteerism has just been in Nat's blood.

I was in many clubs and president of many clubs. I worked for an apartment setter group, and I
wrote all the handwritten thank you notes for them; and then I worked on the campus many,
many years. Oh, I did makeup and jewelry when we lived in Lexington, did a lot of public
speaking to teachers in how to dress and what to wear. I was a teacher aide in Dallas. I was -- I've
been president of Newcomers just about every place we've lived. So that's, no, I don't let any dust
collect under my feet (laughs).
