This is WTAW, the First 100 Years, I'm Tom Turbiville. To say that 1922 radio station, WTAW,
has grown a whole lot of limbs on its tree, well that would be an understatement. It's time for a
roll call because today, WTAW's parent company, Bryan Broadcasting, now broadcasts 11
stations in the Brazos Valley. Who are they? Well, of course, it starts with WTAW News Talk,
1620, 94.5 FM. There's Candy 95, Top 40; Candy 95.1; The Zone Sports Radio, 1150 AM and
93.7 FM; Peace 107, Christian Contemporary Radio; Classic Country, 97.7 Willie FM. There's
Maverick 100.9, that's Red Dirt and Texas Country. There's Willie 1550 AM and 98.7 FM in
Navasota, that is classic country. Gospel 97.3, that's southern gospel. There's La Jefe 102.7.
Peace 101.3, Christian contemporary. And finally, in Buffalo, covering the bisons and classic
country 103.5 FM, Willie. The limbs are mighty, and the limbs are plentiful of WTAW, the First
100 Years.
