Wolf Pen Creek
Located adjacent to Post Oak Mall and between the City's two main commercial
thoroughfares; Texas Avenue and State Highway 6, Wolf Pen Creek is poised for
high quality commercial development. The City of College Station is currently
conducting a master planning process that will assist in the continued
development of a greenway that traverses the district with hike and bike trails.
In 1993, the City of College Station finished construction of a $1.5 million
amphitheater and entertainment area which has hosted such acts as Willie Nelson
and Jerry Jeff Walker. The Economic Development Department is currently
working to assist retail and commercial businesses in locating within Wolf Pen
Creek.
