A BRAND IS SOMETHING THAT IS BOUGHT BY A CUSTOMER.” HOWARD BLEVINS VICE PRESIDENT, MANAGEMENT SUPERVISOR HOWARDHoward comes to Rives Carlberg with over 20 years’ experience working with regional, national and international agencies. He has solid consumer, retail and business-to-business experience, and sound strategic thinking and tactical execution. Howard provides strategic counsel to his clients and manages the overall day-to-day execution of their projects. He relentlessly pursues results that will significantly increase brand visibility and competitive advantage. His strategy-driven philosophy has had significant impact on building clients’ brands, sales and market share. While at Ogilvy & Mather, Howard helped introduce Shell’s SU 2000, their first gasoline product introduction in over ten years. He was also in charge of advertising for Shell’s heavy-duty line of motor oils. He also worked on the “Come To Shell For Answers” campaign, the most successful campaign in Shell’s history. Howard’s other national and regional experience includes H-E-B Supermarkets, Rheem Air Conditioning, The Houston Texans, Erickson Communications, Church’s Fried Chicken, Houston Lighting and Power, Conoco and Chase Bank. A Louisiana native, Howard is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, where he received his degree in advertising.
