A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, NOMINATING CANDIDATE(S) FOR CONSIDERATION TO SERVE ON THE
BOARD OF DIRECTORS FOR THE BRAZOS CENTRAL APPRAISAL DISTRICT,
BRAZOS COUNTY, TEXAS, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Texas Tax Code Section 6.03(g) provides that each taxing unit that is entitled to vote
may nominate by resolution adopted by its governing body one candidate for each position to be
filled on the Board of Directors of the Brazos Central Appraisal District (District); and
WHEREAS, The City of College Station is a taxing unit within the District; and
WHEREAS, The City of College Station is entitled to vote for members of the District's Board of
Directors and desires to nominate qualified candidate(s) for Board positions to be filled; and
WHEREAS, The presiding officer of the governing body of a taxing unit is required to submit the
name(s) of the unit's nominee(s) to the chief appraiser before November 20, 2025; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
PART 1: The City Council of the City of College Station, Brazos County, Texas, nominates
Susan Pesl, as a candidate for membership on the Board of Directors of the Brazos
Central Appraisal District, Brazos County, Texas; and
PART 2: The City Secretary's Office is directed, on behalf of the Mayor, as presiding officer,
to forward a certified copy of this resolution to the Chief Appraiser, Brazos Central
Appraisal District, Brazos County, Texas, before November 20, 2025; and
PART 3: That this Resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
ADOPTED this 13th day of November, 2025.
