AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING CERTAIN TERRITORY ADJOINING THE CITY LIMITS OF
THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION AND INCORPORATING THE SAME AS A PART OF
THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
WHEREAS, the City Council has held a public hearing in the City Hall at
7:00 p.m. on February 23, 1970, on the question of receiving certain territory into
the city limits;
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has heard all parties pertaining thereto,
has determined the following:
Upon compliance with Article II, Section 7, of the City Charter and the applicable
laws of the State of Texas, the following territory shall be incorporated within the city
limits:
Trnnt Nn 1
Beginning at a concrete post in the Northwest Right of Way line of FM 60, said
concrete post being in the present city limit line, and also being the southeast corner of
the Ruble Langston 47. 5 acre tract and a corner of the A&M University land;
Thence, in a northwesterly direction along a line between the A&M University
land and the Ruble Langston 47. 5 acre tract a distance of approximately 933 feet to
a point, said point also being the northeast corner of the Ruble Langston 47.5 acre
tract;
Thence, in a southwesterly direction along a line between the A&M University
land and the Ruble Langston 47.5 acre tract, a distance of approximately 2,325 feet
to a concrete post, said concrete post also being the northwest corner of the Ruble
Langston 47. 5 acre tract;
Thence, in a northwesterly direction along a boundary fence line of the A&M
University land a distance of approximately 2, 900 feet to a point in the northwest right
of way line of F&B Road.
Thence S 450 W along the northwest Right of Way line of F&B Road, approximately
1, 700 feet to a point, said point being 500 feet west of the West Right of Way line of
FM 2818.
Thence in a southerly direction along a line 500 feet from and parallel to
the various concrete control monuments in the West Right of Way line of FM 2818,
to a point, said point being 500 feet northwest of a concrete Right of Way marker in
the north Right of Way line of FM 60;
Thence S 450 E a distance of 500 feet to the above mentioned concrete right
of way marker in the northwest right of way line of FM 60; 01771

Thence S 220 E a distance of approximately 105 feet to a concrete right of way
marker in the southeast right of way line of FM 60;
Thence in a Northeasterly direction along the southeast right of way line of
FM 60, said line being the present city limit line, a distance of approximately 4,138
feet to a point;
Thence, in a northwesterly direction across FM 60 a distance of approximately
100 feet to the place of beginning and containing 234, acres more or less.

Beginning at a concrete right of way marker, said marker being the intersection
of the south right of way line of FM 2818 and the east right of way line of FM 2154, said
point further described as being at Station THD 150 + 32. 0 of FM 2154;

Thence S 450 49' W across FM 2154, a distance of approximately 7,W-feet to
a point, said point being 500 feet southwest of the west right of way line of the Southern
Pacific Railroad.
Thence N 310 41' W a distance of approximately 1, 200 feet to a point, said
point being S 60 42' W a distance of 500 feet from a concrete right of way marker at
the intersection of the south Right of Way line of FM 2818 and the east Right of Way
line of the Southern Pacific Railroad;
Thence in a northwesterly direction along a line 500 feet from and parallel to
the various concrete markers in the southwest right of way line of FM 2818 to a point,
said point being S 110 41' W a distance of 500 feet from a concrete marker located at
Station 334 + 14. 7 of FM 2818;
Thence N 700 09' W a distance of approximately 280 feet to a point, said point
being in the present city limit line and also being the most southerly corner of the
Alton B Williams 10. 5 acre tract;
Thence N 410 09' W along the present city limit line a distance of approximately
1, 245 feet to a point, said point being a corner of the A&M University land and also
being in the North Right of Way line of Hrdlicka Road;
Thence N 440 21' E along the north right of way line of Hrdlicka Road, said
right of way line also being the present city limit line, a distance of approximately 5, 538
feet to the west right of way line of the Missouri Pacific Railroad;
Thence S 180 20' E along the west Right of Way line of the Missouri Pacific
Railroad, said right of way line also being the present city limit line, a distance of
approximately 4,410 feet to a point, said point being in the North Right of Way line of
FM 2818.

Thence S 890 09' E along the north right of way line of FM 2818, said right of
way line also being the present city limit line, a distance of 43 feet to a concrete marker;
Thence S 860 10' E, continuing along the present city limit line, a distance of
1, 494.6 feet to a point, said point being the intersection of the northeast right of way line
of FM 2154, and an extension of the north right of way line of FM 2818;
Thence, in a Southeasterly direction along the northeast right of way line of
FM 2154, a distance of approximately 1, 950 feet to the place of beginning and containing
356 acres of land, more or less.
Tract No. 3:
Beginning at a concrete post in the west right of way line of the Missouri
Pacific Railroad, said concrete post further described as being N 180 20' W a distance
of 174 feet from the intersection of the West right of way line of the Missouri Pacific
Railroad, and the north right of way line of Hrdlicka Road;
Thence N 420 W along a fence line for the boundary of the A&M University land
a distance of 1, 865 feet to a concrete post for a corner;
Thence N 450 E along the South right of way line of FM 2347, a distance of
approximately 830 feet to the west right of way line of the Missouri Pacific Railroad;
Thence S 180 20' E along the west right of way line of the Missouri Pacific
Railroad a distance of approximately 2, 040 feet to the place of beginning and containing
17.2 acres, more or less.
