AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 14, SERVICE FEES, SECTION 3 "FIRE
DEPARTMENT SERVICES" BY ADDING TO THE LIST OF AUTHORIZED FEES
EMERGENCY AND RESCUE SERVICE FEES PROVIDED BY COLLEGE STATION
FIRE DEPARTMENT; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS:
PART 1: That Chapter 14, Section 3 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of College
Station, Texas, be hereby amended as set out in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto and
made a part of this ordinance for all purposes.
PART 2: That all previous ordinances in direct conflict with this ordinance are hereby
superseded and repealed, but only to the extent of such conflict.
PART 3: That if any provisions of any section of this ordinance shall be held to be void or
unconstitutional, such holding shall in no way affect the validity of the remaining
provisions or sections of this ordinance, which shall remain in full force and
effect.
PART 4: That this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage and
approval.

EXHIBIT "A"
That Chapter 14, Service Fees, Section 3 "Fire Department Services" of the Code of Ordinances,
City of College Station, Texas, is hereby amended by adding a subsection, to be numbered
Subsection Z, which said subsection shall read as follows:
"CHAPTER 14
SERVICE FEES
SECTION 3 "Fire Department Services"
Z. Emergency and rescue services."
