AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2659, DELETING ONE SENTENCE FROM
ARTICLE III, SECTION 18, SUBSECTION (C), AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of College Station approved Ordinance No.
2659 on August 28, 2003; now, therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE
STATION, TEXAS:
PART 1:
That the second sentence of Article III, Section 18, Subsection (c):
"Such terms for councilmen shall be on a three-year staggered
basis to the end that two (2) councilmen shall be elected each
year,"
is hereby removed and repealed from Ordinance No. 2659 passed on
August 28, 2003.
PART 2:
That this ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its date of
final passage.
