College Station past annexa- tions have resulted in areas that have seen development ranging from city facilities to premiere neighborhoods to business parks. Points of Interest: Effective March 29, 2008, the City of College Station annexed approximately 1,500 acres and will be Page 1 providing building permits and inspection services to these areas. This service will be made available Inspector’s to the annexed areas on the same basis and at the same level of service as similar facilities throughout the City. Service is provided on a “cost recovery” basis, and permit fees partially offset the costs of Corner services delivered.
