Planning and Zoning Commission

1. Hear Visitors . At this time, the Chairman will open the floor to citizens wishing to address the
Commissi on on planning and zoning issues not already scheduled on tonight's agenda. The citizen
presentations will be limited to three minutes in order to accommodate everyone who wishes to
address the Commission and to allow adequate time for completion of the a genda items. The
Commission will receive the information, ask city staff to look into the matter, or will place the
matter on a future agenda for discussion. (A recording is made of the meeting; please give your name
and address for the record.)
2. Public Comment for the Record . At this time, the Chairman will open the floor to citizens wishing
to address the Commission on consent and regular agenda items that are not scheduled for a public
hearing. This does not include items where hearings have been pre viously held. The citizen
presentations will be limited to three minutes in order to accommodate everyone who wishes to
address the Commission and to allow adequate time for completion of the agenda items. The
Commission will receive the information and it will be added to the public record. (A recording is
made of the meeting; please give your name and address for the record.)
All matters listed under Item 3, Consent Agenda, are considered to be routine by the Planning and Zoning
Commission and will be enacted by one motion. These items include preliminary and final plats, where staff
has found compliance with all minimum subdivision regulations. All items approved by Consent are
approved with any and all staff recommendations. There will not be sepa rate discussion of these items. If
any Commissioner desires to discuss an item on the Consent Agenda it will be moved to the Regular Agenda
for further consideration.
3. Consent Agenda .
3.1 Consideration and possible action on a Final Plat for the Schue ssler Subdivision consisting of
9 lots on 55.27 acres on Kemp Road. (02 - 173)
3.2 Discussion and possible action on a Final Plat for the Callaway House Parking Subdivision,
1.376 acres located along Marion Pugh Drive. (02 - 185 )
3.3 Consideration and poss ible action on façade changes including an attached sign for Aggieland
Nails located at 1933 Texas Avenue in the Wolf Pen Creek zoning district. (02 - 182)
This building is wheelchair accessible. Handicapped parking spaces are available. Any request for sign interpretive service must

5. Consideration, discussion, and possible action on items removed from the Consent Agenda by
Commission action.
6. Public hearing, di scussion and possible action on a Rezoning for 3950 Harvey Road, located just
adjacent to Koppe Bridge Bar & Grill Restaurant to the east. (02 - 174)
7. Public hearing, discussion, and possible action on a Conditional Use Permit for Parkway Baptist
Church loc ated at 1501 Southwest Parkway. (02 - 176)
8. Consideration and possible action on a preliminary plat for the Edelweiss Gartens Subdivision
consisting of 360 lots located south of Graham Road and east of Wellborn Road. The plat proposal
includes a request f or a variance to the Subdivision Regulations regarding maximum block length.
9. Discussion, and possible action for a Conditional Use Permit for the Southland Telecommunications
Tower located at 112 Holleman. This item was tabled at P&Z meeting on 9/5. (02 - 118)
10. Public hearing, discussion and possible action on an amendment to the City’s Thoroughfare Plan
pertaining to the classification of Cornell Drive. (02 - 195)
11. Discussion of future agenda items.
12. Adjourn.

The Planning and Zoning Commission may seek advice from its attorney regarding a pending and contemplated litigation subject
or attorney - client privileged information. After executive session discussion, any final action or vote taken will be in public. If
