Planning and Zoning Commission

1. Hear Visitors . At this time, the Chairman will open the floor to citizens wishing to address the
Commi ssion on planning and zoning issues not already scheduled on tonight's agenda. The citizen
presentations will be limited to three minutes in order to accommodate everyone who wishes to
address the Commission and to allow adequate time for completion of th e agenda items. The
Commission will receive the information, ask city staff to look into the matter, or will place the
matter on a future agenda for discussion. (A recording is made of the meeting; please give your name
and address for the record.)
2. Publ ic Comment for the Record . At this time, the Chairman will open the floor to citizens wishing
to address the Commission on consent and regular agenda items that are not scheduled for a public
hearing. This does not include items where hearings have been previously held. The citizen
presentations will be limited to three minutes in order to accommodate everyone who wishes to
address the Commission and to allow adequate time for completion of the agenda items. The
Commission will receive the information a nd it will be added to the public record. (A recording is
made of the meeting; please give your name and address for the record.)
All matters listed under Item 3, Consent Agenda, are considered to be routine by the Planning and Zoning
Commission and will be enacted by one motion. These items include preliminary and final plats, where staff
has found compliance with all minimum subdivision regulations. All items approved by Consent are
approved with any and all staff recommendations. There will not be s eparate discussion of these items. If
any Commissioner desires to discuss an item on the Consent Agenda it will be moved to the Regular Agenda
for further consideration.
3. Consent Agenda .
3.1 Consideration and possible action on a Preliminary Plat for 5.175 acres in the JSEA
Subdivision located along White Creek Road in the City's Extraterritorial Jurisdiction. (02 - 63)
3.2 Consideration and possible action on a Preliminary Plat for Schuessler Subdivision, consisting
of 8 lots and 1 reserve lot on 55.25 acres on Kemp Road in the City's Extraterritorial
Jurisdiction. (02 - 124)
3.3 Consideration and possible action on an Amending Plat for Lots 15, 16, 21, and 22 for Sun
Meadows Phase 1. (02 - 126)
This building is wheelchair accessible. Handicapped parkin g spaces are available. Any request for sign interpretive service must

3.4 Consideration and possible action on other uses allowed in the C - 1, General Business district
and a parking determination for the Rainbow Play System Package (02 - 128)

6. Public hearing, discussion, and possible action on a Rezoning for the tract of land located in the
northwest quadrant of t he intersection of Krenek Tap Road and State Highway 6 South from R - 1,
Single Family Residential, to C - 1, General Commercial. (02 - 121)
7. Public hearing, discussion, and possible action on a Rezoning for the tract of land located along the
north side of K renek Tap Road and west of the future extension of Central Park Lane, from R - 1,
Single Family Residential, to R - 5, Apartment/Medium Density. (02 - 120)
8. Public hearing, discussion, and possible action on a Conditional Use and Site Permit for an expansion
of the Bourbon Street Bar located at 2501 Texas Avenue, D - 101. (02 - 123)
