SPE CIA L CITY COUNCIL MEETING
April 6, 1973
5:00 P.M.
THE STATE OF TEXAS
COUNTY OF BRAZOS
On this the 6th day of April, 1973, the City Council of the City of College Station,
Texas, convened in special session at the regular meeting place thereof with the fol-
lowing members present, to-wit:
J. B. Hervey
Fred R. Brison
Don R. Dale
J. D. Lindsay
R. D. Radeleff
C. A. Bonnen
Mayor

and the following absent: Homer B. Adams, constituting the quorum thereof, and among
other proceedings had were the following:
Councilman Radeleff introduced a resolution and order and moved its adoption.
The motion was seconded by Councilman Lindsay and the motion carrying with it the
adoption of the resolution prevailed by the following vote: AYES: all; NOES: none.
The resolution is as follows:

RESOLUTION
There came on to be considered the returns ofan election held on the 3rd day
of April, 1973, for the purpose of electing three councilmen, and it appearing from
said returns, duly and legally made, that there were cast at said election 995 valid
and legal votes; that each of the candidates in said election received the following
votes:

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE
STATION, TEXAS:
That said election was duly called; tha~ notice of said election was given in ac-
cordance with law, and that said election was held in accordance with law, and that
Fred Brison, Don Dale and R. D. Radeleff were duly elected Councilmen of said City
at said election, and that said above named parties are hereby declared duly elected
to said respective offices, subject to the taking of their oaths as provided by the laws
of the State of Texas.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this the 6th day of April, 1973.
