April 5, 1972
THE STATE OF TEXAS
COUNTY OF BRAZOS
On this 5th day of April, 1972, the City Council of the City of College Station,
Texas, convened in special session at the regular meeting place thereof with the
following members present, to-wit.
J. B. Hervey
Fred R. Brison
Homer B. Adams
Don R. Dale
J. D. Lindsay
R. D. Radeleff
C. A. Bonnen
Mayor
Councilman
Councilman
Councilman
Councilman
Councilman
Councilman
and the following absent. None, constituting the quorum, and among other pro-
ceedings had were the following:
Councilman Radeleff introduced a resolution and order and moved its adoption.
The motion was seconded by Councilman Dale, md the motion carrying with it the
adoption of the resolution and order prevailed by the following vote, AYES- all,
NOE S: none.
The resolution is as follows.
There came on to be considered the returns of an election held on the 4th day
of April, 1972, for the purpose of electing a mayor and three councilmen, and it
appearing from said returns, duly and legally made, that there were cast at said
981 valid and legal votes; that each of the candidates in said election received the
following votes:

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
That said election was duly called; that notice of said election was given in
accordance with law, and that said election was held in accordance with law, and
that J. B. Hervey was duly elected Mayor of said city at said election and Homer
B. Adams, J. D. Lindsay and C. A. Bonnen were duly elected Councilmen of said
city at~ said election, and that said above named parties are hereby declared duly e le_¢ted
to saia respective offices, subjectto the taking oftheir oaths as provided bythe laws ofthe
State of Texas.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 5th day of April, 1972.

directed to file a certified copy of said amendments with the Secretary of State.
