On motion of Councilman Sorrels, seconded by Councilman Seeger, all voting aye, Ordinance No. 232, an ordinance granting changes in rates to the Southwestern States Telephone Company was passed and approved, same to become effective with the October 1956 billing. On motion of Councilman Sorrels, seconded by Councilman Boyett, all voting aye, the following resolution was adopted and the City Manager was instructed to advise all parties concerned of this action: RESOLUTION It was moved by Councilman Boyett and seconded by Councilman Sorrels that ten days notice, as per contract of June 9, 1945, be given to the residents of the Spring Green Community area and to the Spring Green Community Club that no more water will be furnished after that date through the privately owned water line because of conflicts over the establishment of service, who is to be on the line with meters, etc.; and that no further service will be furnished until 9 the City of College Station has been given a quitclaim deed to said � line which includes the full control and management of said line in order that the City will have the authority and control through the Water Department. r APPROVED: r Qo co 00 O May4& pro -tem X 4 ATTEST: Z .
