SUBJECT: Parking Lot Plan (Revised) - The Fajita Express &
Wayne's Mobile Kitchen - 213 University Drive (86 -417)
The P.R.C. met on 8 -6 -86 to review the above mentioned revised
site plan and voted to approve this plan by a vote of 2 -1 with
the following conditions* /comments:
(1) Any electrical requirements must be coordinated with Ray
Havens in the Electric Department.
(2) Dumpster requirements for this revised project will be a
minimum of one 3 yard dumpster, or a written agreement from the
owner of the dumpster on this property regarding sharing of the
existing dumpster. City ordinance prohibits individuals hauling
their own garbage.
(3) Fire Marshal Harry Davis has indicated he will inspect these
"temporary" units with regard to the location of the propane
tanks.
(4) P &Z Representative MacGilvray expressed concern regarding
setting precedent which allows structures of this nature in
various locations in the City.

(5) A 10 foot front setback is required by ordinance.
Votes were cast as follows:
(1) City Engineer Pullen voted against approval of this plan
because he regards these structures as "permanent mobile
installations" rather than "temporary" as they will be at the
site for approximately 6 days per week.
(2) Assistant Director of Planning Callaway voted for approval
of this plan, explaining that his vote was cast for City Planner
Mayo in his absence.
(3) P &Z Representative MacGilvray voted for approval of this
plan because these "temporary" units are being located in the
C -NG zoning district, which is a special district with fewer
regulations than other commercial districts in the City.
*Any changes to an approved site plan must be cleared through the
Planning Department.
