HomeMy WebLinkAboutJuly 24Cl July 24, 1985 MEMORANDUM City of College Station POST OFFICE BOX 9960 1 101 TEXAS AVENUE COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS 77840 -2499 TO: Elrey Ash, Director of Capital Improvements Mike Greer, Architect, Emmet Trant & Associates FROM: Project Review Committee: Al Mayo, Director of Planning David Pullen, City Engineer Dan MacGilvray, Walter Wendler; P &Z Representatives Others attending: Joe Guidry, Electrical Superintendent Harry Davis, Fire Marshal Bill Riley, Water & Sewer Department Jane Kee, Zoning Official Kim Johnson, Assistant Zoning Official Shirley Volk, Planning Technician SUBJECT: Conditional Use Permit - Addition to Existing Police Station (85-710) The P.R.C. met on this date to review the above mentioned project, and recommends approval with the following conditions: * (1) Designate "Fire Lane!' on curbing as specified by the Fire Marshal. (2) Fuel tanks will have to be tested, (3) Coordinate electrical requirements with Electrical Department. (4) Landscaping: (a) Include two (2) additional columns in the legend to indicate the points allowed for each species and the multiplication totals. (b) Change the total landscaping points required from 1800 to 6825. (c) Some trees designated as protected may be disallowed due to their proximity to paved or construction areas. Further investigation will be required to determine exact number of trees which can be protected and allowed 150 points each. (d) Show the location of hose bibs; bibs must be within 150 feet of landscaped areas. (e) Indicate type and application of groundcover to be used. SUBMIT 10 COPIES OF REVISED DRAWINGS TO PLANNING DEPARTMENT PRIOR TO NOON ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 9th TO BE INCLUDED ON P &Z AGENDA AUGUST 15th. -Any changes to an approved site plan must be cleared through the office of the Director of Planning. sjv
