Wood Mac Randolph FROM: Project Review Committee: Al Mayo, Director of Planning David Pullen, City Engineer Murl Bailey /Ron Kaiser, P&Z Representatives Also Attending: Harry Davis, Fire Marshal Shirley Volk, Planning Technician SUBJECT: Parking Lot Plan - University Drive Convenience Store (83 -440) The P.R.C. met on September 6th to review the above mentioned project, and recommends approval with the following conditions:* (1) Lots must be replatted to eliminate existing public access easements. (2) Access drive to University Drive must be eliminated at proposed location as it is too close to the intersection of Spring Loop and is not acceptable to the City Engineer. (3) Include the type of sod to be used in the landscaping notes. (4) Suggest the addition of one or two parking spaces. (5) Include a note that the fence around the dumpster is to be a screen fence. (6) Contact the Director of Public Services regarding the size and location of dumpster pad. (7) Contact the Electrical Department regarding electrical service required. (8) A 6" raised curb is required around all edges of all parts of all paved areas without exception. (To include islands, planting areas, access ways, dumpster locations, utility pads, etc.) Curb detail to be approved by the City Engineer. No exceptions will be made for areas indicated on site plan as "reserved for future parking ". SUBMIT 10 COPIES OF REVISED PLAN TO THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT BY SEPTEMBER 30th TO BE INCLUDED ON P&Z AGENDA OCTOBER 6th. No public comment will be received at Commission meeting unless requested by a member of the Commission and allowed by the chairman. Applicant may submit any written comment to the Commission by filing same on the Friday preceding the scheduled meeting. sjv
