MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING
April 5, 1967
THE STATE OF TEXAS X

COUNTY OF BRAZOS X
On this the 5th day of April, 1967, the city council of the city of College Station,
Texas, convened in special session at the regular meeting place thereof with the
following members present to -wit:
D. A. Anderson
Mayor
Homer B. Adams
Councilman
Bill J. Cooley
Councilman
O. M. Holt
Councilman
Robert R. Rhodes
Councilman
A. P. Boyett
Councilman
A. L. Rosprim
Councilman
Charles F. Richardson
City Secretary
constituting a quorum, and among other proceedings had were the following:
Councilman Holt introduced a resolution and order and moved its adoption.
The motion was seconded by Councilman Boyett and the motion carrying with it
1 the adoption of the resolution and order prevailed by the following vote:

NOES: None
The resolution is as follows:
L; l There came on to be considered the returns of an election held on the 4th day of
(f`? April, 1967, for the purpose of electing the hereinafter named officials, and it
appearing from said returns, duly and legally made, that there were cast at said
f_ election 616 valid and legal votes; that each of the candidates in said election received
the following votes:
FOR COUNCILMAN
0 WARD I: Bill J. Cooley 204
0 W. N. Williamson 117
WARD II: Robert R. Rhodes 152
E. A. Denton 90
Wes Harker 16
WARD III: A. L. Rosprim 35

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
That said election was duly called; that notice of said election was given in
accordance with law, and that said election was held in accordance with law,
and that Bill J. Cooley, R. R. Rhodes, and Antone Rosprim were duly elected
councilmen of said city at said election and said above named parties are hereby
declared duly elected to said respective offices, subject to the taking of their
oaths as provided by the laws of the State of Texas.
PASSED, ADOPTED AND APPROVED this the 5th day of April, 1967.
