April 7, 1966
Members present: Mayor Anderson; Councilmen Rhodes, Holt, Boyett, Rosprim,
Adams; City Attorney Sandstedt; City Manager Boswell.
The purpose of the meeting was to elect a Mayor Pro tem from the membership
of the council.
On motion of Councilman Boyett, seconded by Councilman Rosprim, Councilman
Holt was elected as Mayor Pro tem for the period ending with the municipal
election of April, 1967.
The council adjourned subject to call.

MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING
April 7., 1966
THE STATE OF TEKAS
COUNTY OF BRAZOS
On this the 7th day of April, 1966, the city council of the city of College
Station, Texas, convened in special session at the regular meeting place thereof
with the following members present, to -wit:
Ernest Langford
Mayor
A. P.
Boyett
Councilman
0. M.
Holt
Councilman
Antone Rosprim
Councilman
R. R.
Rhodes
Councilman
John
L. Sandstedt
City Attorney
and the following absent: Councilman T. R. Holleman, constituting a quorum, and
among other proceedings had were the following:
Councilman Boyett introduced a resolution and order and moved its adoption.
The motion was seconded by Councilman Rosprim, and the motion carrying with it
the adoption of the resolution and order prevailed by the following vote. AYES:
all, NOES: none.
The resolution is as follows:
There came on to be considered the returns of an election held on the 5th
day of April, 1966, for the purpose of electing the hereinafter named officials,
and it appearing from said returns, duly and legally made,, that there were cast
at said election 8/+0 valid and legal votes; that each of the candidates in said
election received the following votes:

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE
STATION, TEKAS:
�7 That said election was duly called; that notice of said election was
a given in accordance with law, and that said election was held in accordance
with law, and that D. A. Anderson was duly elected Mayor of said City at said
election and Homer B. Adams, 0. M. Holt and A. P. Boyett were duly elected
Councilmen of said City at said election, and that said above named parties
are hereby declared duly elected to said respective offices, subject to the
taking of their oaths as provided by the laws of the State of Texas.
